AeroTech, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Mike Martens to the position of Director of Marketing and Sales effective April 20, 2000.
Mike is a graduate of the University of Wyoming (BA) and Virginia Commonwealth University (MBA). His background includes eight years with the U.S. Army, serving as an Ordnance officer and, most recently, responsibilities as a manufacturing general manager combined with marketing/operations consulting experience.
His involvement with rocketry began as a Boy Scout in the 1960s while earning the Aviation merit badge. Mike carried this into his service as an adult leader in a local Scouting unit, introducing Cub Scouts to the sport. He is currently a Unit Commissioner for the Boulder Dam Council.
Mike is a member of the advisory board for the Rancho High School Magnet Academy of Aviation and Aerospace Engineering.
In addition to flying rockets Mike also can be found piloting his 1949 Stinson Voyager or his 1963 E-Type Jaguar.
Mike looks forward to the opportunity to further enhance Aerotechs existing commitment to customer service.
