Edward LaCroix Joins AeroTech as Sales and Marketing Director

1/2/95: Today, Edward (Ed) LaCroix joins the AeroTech staff as Director of Sales and Marketing.

Ed will be responsible for all phases of the management and implementation of the domestic, foreign and educational marketing and sales policies for the complete AeroTech Consumer Aerospace product line. This includes standard products, non-standard motors, high-power single-use and reloadable rocket motors and rocket kits, and the upcoming RMS/Hybrid product release.

Ed will also participate in the research and development of new AeroTech products.

Ed brings with him a diverse background toward the fulfillment of his position with the AeroTech staff. He founded and operated Apogee Components, the largest supplier of competition model rocket kits, parts and motors, for a period of seven years. He has also been employed as a Production Manager and Design Engineer for Quest Aerospace, a manufacturer of 'A' through 'C' model rocket kits, motors, parts and ground support equipment.

Ed is a joint recipient of the H. Galloway Space Modeling Service Award, the highest award given by the National Association of Rocketry (NAR) for outstanding contributions to the hobby of model rocketry. He has been a member of the NAR for over 20 years, and a member of the Tripoli Rocketry Association for over six years.

Ed is currently a Trustee (board member) of the NAR.

This new position will in no way affect the availability of Apogee competition rocket motors. Customers of Apogee products can still reach Ed at his customary phone number and address.

Ed enthusiastically looks forward to the re-establishment of timely communications with all current AeroTech customers, dealers and distributors. His efforts will be complemented by AeroTech's renewed ability to fill the majority of its orders from stock.
