Model rocket RMS reload kits may be purchased by anyone 18 yrs. of age or older. Purchasing these reload kits does not require certification from a national rocketry organization (required for H and above only).

Note: RMS-R/C reload kits are only intended for use in powering
radio controlled gliders and are not suitable for model rocket vehicles
as they do not utilize a parachute delay and ejection charge.

HIGH POWER RMS RELOAD KITS

Typical high power RMS reload kit.

High power RMS reload kits require certification completion in a national rocketry organization before purchase. You must be 18 yrs. of age or older to purchase Easy Access high power RMS reload kits. You must be 21 yrs. of age or older to purchase Restricted Access RMS high power reload kits. Additionally, out-of-state purchasers of Restricted Access reload kits must possess a "Low Explosive User Permit" (LEUP) issued by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF).
